The tour engages visitors with the lifestyle of peasants in the countryside of Van. We try to avoid the use of motor transport; mostly, we walk to villages along the roads and footpaths. Most of the program is fully-sustainable and responsible. We will be interacting with villagers who have never seen tourists before.
We will even take enough time to create dialogues, and sit down with the villagers at their homes on the balconies. We will walk with them through their villages, while they tell us about their lives and show us their way of living. They will also show us their village churches, if there are remnants of any such buildings.
In some villages, we will eat with the local people, finding out about their healthy culinary methods and tastes. The families receive money for their work; thus our tours create local income. We use a rotating system while selecting families to cook for us, as it is good for the families and the peace of the society.
