Every Saturday the lively streetmarket of Turgutreis is held. It is the biggest and the cheapest market on the Bodrum Peninsula. You can find all kinds of fresh and interesting local vegetables and fruits, herbs and spices, olives and olive oil, and handicrafts and textiles. Try to bargain for the best price; it is a lot of fun and may lower the price considerably.
